Commercial Coordinator required for a successful, international company in Harlow. This is an awesome company to work for and despite their success and growth, maintain the feeling of a family-run business.

In this role you will be a part of the customer service team, providing support to the commercial team. This will include:

-          Handling customer queries by telephone and email,

-          Maintaining good customer relations

-          Maintaining client records using company CRM and ERP systems

-          Receiving customer orders

-          Verifying pricing, packaging, product specifications, delivery and payment terms against quotations and price lists

-          Liaising with planners & buyers to help schedule incoming sales orders to meet customers’ needs

-          Attend weekly sales and operations meetings to ensure we meet customers’ needs

-          Issuing order acknowledgements and confirming or amending delivery dates

-          Converting customer orders to works orders to instruct production

-          Developing knowledge of products and applications to be able to ensure product enquiries are dealt with effectively or passed to the appropriate Sales or Technical contact

-          Maintaining pricing database for customer products

-          Processing customer complaints

-          Overseeing minor changes to customer product requirements, such as labels and packaging

-          Ad-hoc tasks (such as sales reports & customer-related requests of certificates, letters of representation, free sales declarations, and supporting the invoicing process)

The successful candidate will have previous customer facing experience, experience working within a team in a supporting role, as well as:

-          Being genuinely customer orientated

-          Computer literate (ERP & CRM system experience advantageous)

-          Exposure to B2B sales through distributors and OEM’s an advantage

-          Experience of implementing change

-          Potential to take on increasing responsibility

-          Self-starter, ability to lead and take initiative when required or when unsupervised

-          Robust character, able to maintain composure under pressure. 

-          Well organised, dependable and thorough, with attention to detail when needed

In return, my client will be offering a salary of £22,000, based on a 35 hour week (9-5 Mon-Fri).
